This product fits my 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0 Compact SUV very well. I cannot say how it will fit the Suzuki XL-7 which is slightly longer than my vehicle, but may still be considered as "compact". It's best to go with the overall length of the vehicle as a guide. The Polypro manufacturers also state the range (length) for which this cover is recommended. As expected, it is not a tight fit - which is good, as the little slack helps with the putting on and removing the cover.The material performs as advertised. The car car is spared the UV rays of the Sun on the body, dash, seats etc.of the car and although it still gets hot, it does not get quite as hot in the bright tropical sunlight. Sometimes I leave the door glasses slightly lowered while the cover is on, so as to let some hot air out . The material seems to "breathe" quite well; it is also as water resistant as described, with beads of rain water simply rolling off without soaking into the material. Even when rain water pools on the surface, it does not soak in under normal circumstances. Also, I have used cover on very windy days without any problems. The built-in elastic strips and the underside rope/string are able to keep the cover in place in the wind.The zipper on the left side, although a little lighter duty than I would have expected, is working well, providing very useful access to the inside of the car without the need to remove the cover. The cover goes on and comes off easily and stores without trouble in the draw-string sack provided. The full sack is about as large as a camping size propane tank and is quite light and pillow-like. I have not had cause to use the antenna patch since my car has a retractable antenna.All in all, I am happy with the purchase, especially as there were no unwelcome surprises in the performance of the cover. It's just left to be seen how long it will last in service. I live in the tropics with harsh sunlight, rain and breeze. If I become disappointed with its durability in service, I'll update this review. Meanwhile, I would recommend it without reservation. But, do make sure the overall measurements given by the cover and car manufacturers match. Enjoy!
