My husband built me a 6 foot glider, long enough for me to stretch out and nap on. I wanted cushions that were flat without buttons or tufts that were durable. I liked the look of these and the zipper across the back. First, we had no problem putting the cushion inside the case. We took them out of the plastic wrap and immediately placed them in the case to expand. I had to buy two 25in wide X 23in deep cushions and one 23in wide and 23in deep to cover the length of the bench. It was 1/2 in extra on each end, but they tucked in nicely together and stay in place without the straps. They are 5in deep and like a mattress. I have slept overnight a few times this summer with a blanket over the cushions and they give me great support and are not lumpy and don't move. I couldn't be happier. We took the cushions in when we expected rain showers, but they tolerate a sprinkle without holding water. They are firm to sit on and give just a bit after you have sat on them awhile, but I didn't want them too soft either. They haven't lost their shape or color and they sit in the sun half of the day. I would highly recommend them and would consider them for chairs if I can get my husband to make me a couple.So far the product is what it says and it is comfortable they are firm which I like
